Pourquoi ce drama ?

Parce que j’ai vu beaucoup d’extraits qui m’ont donné envie et qu’il est plutôt bien noté.

Why this drama ?

Because I have seen many extracts that made me want to watch it and because it has really good grades.

Episode 1

Seo Ji Hwan, le fils d’un chef de gang (les bulldogs), devient à son tour chef de gang avant de dissoudre le gang et de revenir à la vie normaleee en créant une entreprise de boucherie pour anciens gangsters. Eun Ha se déguise pour vivre et enchaine les petits boulots, elle a notamment une chaîne de vidéos pour enfants. Ils se rencontrent en boite de nuit ou elle tente de l’arrêter déguisée en policière puis dans une rue alors qu’elle est à la recherche (depuis 23 ans) d’un certain Hyun Woo et que Ji Hwan pense qu’elle est dealeuse pour un gang ennemi (les kitty). Ils se rencontrent à nouveau dans un festival de nourriture pour enfants ou elle le fait tomber dans les escaliers (malgré tout, il a un joli coup de foudre).

Episode 1

Seo Ji Hwan, the son of a gang leader (the bulldogs), becomes this gang’s leader,m before disbanding the gang and returning to normal life by setting up a butchery business for former gangsters. Eun Ha disguises herself for a living and works at a series of odd jobs including a channel of videos for kids. They meet in a nightclub, where she tries to arrest him disguised as a policewoman, then in a street while she’s searching (since 23 years) for a certain Hyun Woo, and Ji Hwan thinks she’s a dealer for an enemy gang (the kitties). They meet again at a kid’s food festival, where she knocks him down the stairs (despite everything, he falls in love with her at first sight).

Episode 2

On apprend que le fameux Hyun Woo que recherche Eun Ha est devenu procureur, qu’il se rappelle bien d’elle et qu’il est sur la piste de Ji Hwan (on sent bien venir le triangle amoureux). Ji Hwan quand à lui est hospitalisé et ses sentiments pour Eun Ha grandissent jusqu’à ce qu’il découvre une vidéo qui montre son entreprise sous un mauvais jour sur la chaîne de Eun Ha. On comprend que la vidéo a été postée par l’employeur de Eun Ha sans son accord mais Ji Hwan le prend très mal et la rejette. Elle publie ensuite une vidéo pour rétablir la vérité et ils se réconcilient. Eun Ha fait en parallèle la promotion d’un lait pour enfant qui envoie la moitié des enfants de la ville à l’hôpital (elle a vraiment pas de chance).

Episode 2

We learn that the famous Hyun Woo that Eun Ha is looking for has become a prosecutor, that he remembers her well and that he’s on Ji Hwan’s trail (incoming love triangle for sure). Ji Hwan, meanwhile, is hospitalized and his feelings for Eun Ha grow until he discovers a video showing his company in a bad light on Eun Ha’s channel. We understand that the video was posted by Eun Ha’s employer without her consent, but Ji Hwan takes it badly and rejects her. She then publishes a video to set the record straight, and they reconcile. At the same time, Eun Ha is promoting a children’s milk product that sends half the city’s children to hospital (she’s really unlucky).

Episode 3

Ji Hwan sauve Eun Ha lorsqu’elle se fait attaquer par des parents mécontents et la raccompagne chez elle (et son assistant / chauffeur craque sur sa meilleure amie). On apprend que les parents de Eun Ha n’étaient pas très présents, persécutés par des gangsters et qu’un enfant appelé Hyun Woo l’a sortie de l’ennui et l’a réconfortée (bon j’imagine que le fameux Hyun Woo n’est autre que Ji Hwan). Eun Ha est forcée de fermer sa chaîne suite au scandale et elle se fait pesecuter par une collègue de travail, Ye Na (qui a un gros crush sur Ji Hwan). Ji Hwan quant à lui est désespéré de la fermeture de la chaîne (il y était devenu un peu accro) et met tout en oeuvre pour croiser Eun Ha « par hasard ». Hyun Woo convoque Eun Ha pour l’interroger dans le cadre de l’arrestation du début et on découvre qu’il la connaît mais pas de leur enfance (ce qui me convainc encore plus que Ji Hwan est l’enfant qui jouait avec elle). Ji Hwan et Eun Ha finissent par boire ensemble et s’amuser dans un parc pour enfant ou Ji Hwan lui avoue que sa chaîne lui manque.

Episode 3

Ji Hwan saves Eun Ha when she’s attacked by disgruntled parents and takes her home (and his assistant/driver falls for her best friend). We learn that Eun Ha’s parents weren’t around much, persecuted by gangsters, and that a child named Hyun Woo got her out of trouble and comforted her (well, I guess the famous Hyun Woo is none other than Ji Hwan). Eun Ha is forced to shut down her channel in the wake of the scandal and is pesecuted by a colleague, Ye Na (who has a big crush on Ji Hwan). Ji Hwan, for his part, is desperate for the chain to close (he’d become a bit addicted to it) and does everything he can to bump into Eun Ha « by chance ». Hyun Woo summons Eun Ha for questioning in connection with the arrest at the beginning, and we discover that he knows her but not from their childhood (which convinces me even more that Ji Hwan is the child who played with her). Ji Hwan and Eun Ha end up drinking together and having fun in a children’s park, where Ji Hwan admits to her that he misses her channel.

Episode 4

Après sa cuite monumentale (ou on a droit a un premier presque baiser), Ji Hwan se rappelle peu à peu de ce qu’il a fait et est fou de honte. Eun Ha rencontre le procureur et découvre qu’il s’appelle Hyun Woo mais elle n’arrive pas à lui parler de leur passé. Elle se fait virer par son employeur et mettre à la rue (ce même employeur l’hébergeait). Eun Ha retourne a l’endroit ou elle a vu Hyun Woo pour la dernière fois, on comprend qu’il l’a protégée d’une potentielle agression, et tombe sur Ji Hwan qui habite précisément dans la même maison avec ses « collaborateurs ». Ji Hwan la recueille pour la nuit. Ye Na fait tout pour devenir égérie des saucisses de Ji Hwan (parcequ’il l’a sauvée par le passé). Ji Hwan et Eun Ha se mettent sur les traces de son collaborateur perdu (volé par le gang ennemi) et rencontrent sa petite soeur puis Hyun Woo et on comprend que Ji Hwan et lui se connaissent bien.

Episode 4

After his monumental bender (featuring a first near-kiss), Ji Hwan gradually remembers what he’s done and is mad with shame. Eun Ha meets the prosecutor and discovers that his name is Hyun Woo, but she can’t talk to him about their past. Her employer fires her and she’s thrown out on the street (the same employer used to take her in). Eun Ha returns to the place where she last saw Hyun Woo – we understand he protected her from a potential attack – and runs into Ji Hwan, who lives in the very same house with his « co-workers ». Ji Hwan takes her in for the night. Ye Na goes to great lengths to become Ji Hwan’s sausage muse (because he saved her in the past). Ji Hwan and Eun Ha set out on the trail of his lost collaborator (stolen by the enemy gang) and meet his little sister, then Hyun Woo, and it becomes clear that he and Ji Hwan know each other well.

Episode 5

Hyun Woo récupère Eun Ha et la met en garde contre Seo Ji Hwan. Au même moment, Ji Hwan découvre qu’elle s’appelle Eun Ha (et donc que c’est son amie d’enfance). Il la récupère et elle emménage chez lui et devient la tutrice de son groupe d’anciens prisonniers. Elle rencontre Hyun Woo et lui avoue qu’elle connaissait un Hyun Woo dans son enfance et qu’elle est a sa recherche (on ne sait pas encore ce qu’il répond). Ye Na fait tout pour attraper Ji Hwan dans ses filets et l’avoir à sa botte. Ji Hwan organise un repas de bienvenue pour Eun Ha, elle finit complètement saoule et l’embrasse.

Episode 5

Hyun Woo picks up Eun Ha and warns her about Seo Ji Hwan. At the same time, Ji Hwan discovers that her name is Eun Ha (and therefore that she’s his childhood friend). He picks her up and she moves in with him and becomes the tutor of his group of ex-prisoners. She meets Hyun Woo and confesses that she knew a Hyun Woo as a child and is looking for him (we don’t yet know how he responds). Ye Na does everything in her power to catch Ji Hwan in her net and have him under her thumb. Ji Hwan organizes a welcome dinner for Eun Ha, she ends up drunk and kisses him.

Episode 6

Après la soirée, Eun Ha fait semblant de ne se rappeler de rien et Ji Hwan lui demande de ne plus boire pendant quelque temps. Ye Na fait une réaction allergique en goutant en direct les saucisses de Ji Hwan (ça me fait rire à chaque fois…) et il la sauve et l’emmène à l’hôpital (Eun Ha est très jalouse en l’apprenant). Eun Ha cherche une capsule temporelle enterrée avec son Hyun Woo et finit par hasard par passer son samedi avec l’autre Hyun Woo (elle ne lui a rien dit et continue à le tester) qui lui sort le grand jeu et pense à Ji Hwan en permanence. Yun, la fille du collaborateur disparu de Ji Hwan, disparaît à son tour et leur rendez-vous est écourté. Eun Ha prévient Ji Hwan alors qu’elle est encore avec Hyun Woo, ce qui ne plaît pas à Hyun Woo, et il décide d’aller menacer Ji Hwan et lui avoue qu’il l’a a l’oeil parce qu’il l’a vu des années auparavant dans l’attaque d’un hôtel. Eun Ha passe par hasard une journée à travailler dans l’usine de viande de l’entreprise et se retrouve enfermée dans un entrepôt frigorifique avec Ji Hwan.

Episode 6

After the party, Eun Ha pretends not to remember anything and Ji Hwan asks her not to drink for a while. Ye Na has a live allergic reaction to Ji Hwan’s sausages (makes me laugh every time…) and he saves her and takes her to hospital (Eun Ha is very jealous when she finds out). Eun Ha searches for a time capsule buried with her Hyun Woo and ends up spending her Saturday with the other Hyun Woo (she hasn’t told him and keeps testing him), who pulls out all the stops while she thinks of Ji Hwan all the time. Yun, the daughter of Ji Hwan’s missing colleague, also disappears and their date is cut short. Eun Ha warns Ji Hwan while she’s still with Hyun Woo, which doesn’t please Hyun Woo, and he decides to threaten Ji Hwan, confessing that he has his eye on him because he saw him years ago in a hotel brawl. Eun Ha accidentally spends a day working in the company’s meat factory and finds herself locked in a cold storage room with Ji Hwan.

Episode 7

Ji Hwan sauve Eun Ha et éveille ses soupçons : elle veut savoir ce qu’elle est pour lui. À l’hôpital, elle rencontre Hyun Woo mais ne lui dit toujours rien puis elle parle avec Ji Hwan qui lui raconte que la seule personne a qui il ne s’est jamais ouvert est une amie quand il était petit (elle même). Elle tombe ensuite nez à nez avec Ji Hwan et Ye Na qui se « tiennent » la main et fait une petite crise de jalousie qu’il écarte assez facilement. Hyun Woo se met à la recherche du Hyun Woo qui n’est pas lui et découvre que Ji Hwan a changé de prénom et qu’il s’appelle en fait Hyun Woo (bingo !). Un deal autour du collaborateur disparu (Taek) se prépare entre un gang thaïlandais et le gang des chats, Ji Hwan est informé et prévoit de récupérer Taek. On découvre que le procureur Hyun Woo a un espion dans le groupe de Ji Hwan et Ji Hwan commence à avoir peur pour la sécurité de Eun Ha.

Episode 7

Ji Hwan saves Eun Ha and arouses her suspicions: she wants to know what she is to him. At the hospital, she meets Hyun Woo but still says nothing to him, then talks to Ji Hwan, who tells her that the only person he’s ever opened up to is a friend from when he was little (herself). She then comes face to face with Ji Hwan and Ye Na, who are « holding hands », and throws a little fit of jealousy, which he dismisses easily enough. Hyun Woo sets out to find the Hyun Woo who isn’t him and discovers that Ji Hwan has changed his first name and used to be called Hyun Woo (bingo!). A deal is afoot between a Thai gang and the cat gang over the missing collaborator (Taek); Ji Hwan is informed and plans to get Taek back. We discover that the prosecutor Hyun Woo has a spy in Ji Hwan’s group, and Ji Hwan begins to fear for Eun Ha’s safety.

Episode 8

Ji Hwan retrouve la capsule temporelle et la donne à Eun Ha qui s’empresse d’appeler le faux Hyun Woo pour lui donner rendez-vous. On apprend la raison pour laquelle Ji Hwan est si craint : 10 ans auparavant il a appris que son père était le leader du gang, l’a balancé au procureur et s’est fait attaquer par son rival dans son hôtel qui l’a laissé pour mort. Le faux Hyun Woo a mal compris que l’attaque était de sa faute et le pourchasse depuis. Ji Hwan pars sauver Taek sur le lieu du deal entre la thaïlandaise et son rival. Hyun Woo s’y rend aussi, et tous les collaborateurs de Ji Hwan, Eun Ha comprise, s’y rendent aussi pour le protéger. Ji Hwan arrive à sauver Taek mais se fait renverser par une voiture et manque de se faire tuer par le gang des chats, Hyun Woo et la police arrivent et le sauvent de justesse. Le leader du gang des chats en profite malgré tout pour parler de Eun Ha à Ji Hwan et le menace de s’en prendre à elle. Ji Hwan passed un peu de temps au commissariat à se faire interroger par Hyun Woo qui comprend qu’à chaque fois il protégeait en fait les autres et Ji Hwan refuse d’admettre qu’il est (notre) Hyun Woo. Ji Hwan rejette ensuite Eun Ha (pour la protéger of course) en lui disant que pour lui elle n’est rien de plus qu’une locataire et Eun Ha finit par avoir son diner avec Hyun Woo ou elle lui montre la capsule. Hyun Woo lui dit qu’il a quelque chose à lui dire a propos de la personne avec qui elle a enterré la capsule (et l’épisode nous coupe le passage !), Eun Ha retrouve ensuite Ji Hwan, lui dit qu’elle a retrouvé la personne avec qui elle a enterré la capsule (à ce stade là je suis certaine que Hyun Woo lui a tout avoué) et elle dit adieu à Ji Hwan (j’espère qu’elle lui dit adieu parce que maintenant, pour elle, il est redevenu Hyun Woo).

Episode 8

Ji Hwan finds the time capsule and gives it to Eun Ha, who then calls the fake Hyun Woo to arrange a meeting. We learn why Ji Hwan is so wanted and feared: 10 years ago he learned that his father was the gang’s leader, ratted him out to the prosecutor and was attacked by his rival in his hotel, who left him for dead. The fake Hyun Woo misunderstood that the attack was his fault and has been hunting him ever since. Ji Hwan sets off to save Taek at the scene of the deal between the Thai girl and her rival. Hyun Woo also goes there, and all Ji Hwan’s colleagues, including Eun Ha, also go there to protect him. Ji Hwan manages to save Taek, but is hit by a car and nearly killed by the cat gang. Hyun Woo and the police arrive and save him. The leader of the cat gang takes the opportunity to tell Ji Hwan about Eun Ha and threatens to attack her. Ji Hwan spends some time at the police station being questioned by Hyun Woo, who realizes that he was in fact protecting the others, and Ji Hwan refuses to admit that he is (our) Hyun Woo. Ji Hwan then rejects Eun Ha (to protect her of course), telling her that for him she’s nothing more than a tenant, and Eun Ha ends up having dinner with Hyun Woo, where she shows him the capsule. Hyun Woo tells her he has something to tell her about the person she buried the capsule with (and the episode cuts us off!). Eun Ha then finds Ji Hwan, tells him that she’s found the person she buried the capsule with (at this point I’m sure Hyun Woo has confessed everything to her) and she says goodbye to Ji Hwan (I hope she says goodbye to him because now, to her, he’s Hyun Woo again).

Episode 9

Eun Ha annonce à Ji Hwan qu’elle va déménager et commence à l’ignorer. Hyun Woo apprend à Ji Hwan qu’il a dit à Eun Ha que (notre) Hyun Woo est toujours vivant (sans préciser s’il lui a dit que c’était Ji Hwan) et Ji Hwan menace le leader du gang des chats s’il s’en prend encore à ses collaborateurs. Son père (l’ancien chef de gang qu’il a balancé à la police) est libéré et reprend du business à la tête du gang des chats. Hyun Woo continue son enquête et comprend que Ji Hwan est plutôt contre les gangs et assume les événements auxquels il est lié. Eun Ha et Ji Hwan cherchent un appartement chacun de leur côté, elle pour le quitter et lui pour l’héberger dans les meilleures conditions. Eun Ha finit par trouver et part en rendez-vous avec Hyun Woo pour en parler. Au même moment, Ji Hwan se réveulle et comprend qu’il a des sentiments pour Eun Ha, il court la retrouver et assiste en direct à la confession de Hyun Woo.

Episode 9

Eun Ha tells Ji Hwan she’s moving out and starts ignoring him. Hyun Woo tells Ji Hwan that he told Eun Ha that (our) Hyun Woo is still alive (without specifying whether he told her it was Ji Hwan) and Ji Hwan threatens the cat-gang leader if he attacks his associates again. His father (the former gang leader he ratted out to the police) is released and goes back into business as head of the cat gang. Hyun Woo continues his investigation and understands that Ji Hwan is rather against gangs and takes responsibility for the events to which he is linked. Eun Ha and Ji Hwan look for an apartment each in their side, she to leave him and he to house her in the best possible conditions. Eun Ha finally finds an apartment and goes to meet Hyun Woo to talk things over. At the same time, Ji Hwan wakes up and realizes that he has feelings for Eun Ha. He runs to find her and witnesses Hyun Woo’s live confession.

Episode 10

Eun Ha ne répond pas à la déclaration de Hyun Woo et file avec Ji Hwan (contre son gré). Sa meilleure amie pense être enceinte du bras droit de Ji Hwan (oui, ils ont passé une nuit torride) et lorsqu’elle raccompagne Eun Ha chez elle, les deux se font kidnapper par les collaborateurs de Ji Hwan pour aller passer un weekend « en famille » tous ensemble (avec Ji Hwan et son bras droit). Hyun Woo continue son enquête et est de plus en plus étonné par Ji Hwan. Lors de leur escapade, Eun Ha « disparait » et Ji Hwan fou d’inquiétude part à sa recherche. Lorsqu’il la trouve, il lui avoue ses sentiments et elle lui répond qu’elle a les mêmes avant de l’embrasser (et il tombe presque dans les pommes haha). Ji Hwan devient ensuite extrêmement timide et n’ose même plus croiser son regard jusqu’à ce qu’il la voit avec Hyun Woo, devienne fou de jalousie et l’embrasse. Côté gang, l’ancien leader du gang des chats se fait humilier par le père de Ji Hwan et décide de se venger sur Ji Hwan (pas très logique mais bon…) en s’en prenant à Eun Ha.

Episode 10

Eun Ha doesn’t respond to Hyun Woo’s declaration and runs off with Ji Hwan (against her will). Her best friend thinks she’s pregnant by Ji Hwan’s right-hand man (yes, they’ve had a torrid night) and when she takes Eun Ha home, the two are kidnapped by Ji Hwan’s associates to go and spend a « family » weekend together (with Ji Hwan and his right-hand man). Hyun Woo continues his investigation and is increasingly taken aback by Ji Hwan. During their escapade, Eun Ha « disappears » and Ji Hwan sets off in search of her. When he finds her, he confesses his feelings and she replies that she feels the same way before kissing him (and he almost passes out haha). Ji Hwan then becomes extremely shy and doesn’t even dare to meet her eyes until he sees her with Hyun Woo, becomes crazy jealous and kisses her. On the gang side, the former leader of the cat gang is humiliated by Ji Hwan’s father and decides to take revenge on Ji Hwan (it makes no sense…) by going after Eun Ha.

Episode 11

Eun Ja et JI Hwan décident de vivre leur amour en cachette et Eun Ha lance une nouvelle chaine et reçoit le soutient de Hyun Woo ce qui énerve beaucoup Ji Hwan. Ye Na tourne un episode pour promouvoir les saucisses de Ji Hwan (oui oui…encore…) et invite tout le monde à un diner ou elle tente d’humilier Eun Ha et lui demande quasiment de laisser tomber Ji Hwan parcequ’il lui a sauvé la vie. Le rival de Ji Hwan met en place son plan pour atteindre Ji Hwan au travers de Eun Ha et le bras droit de Ji Hwan déclare sa flamme à la meilleure amie de Eun Ha qui le rejette (d’ailleurs elle est enceinte de lui mais ne le sait pas encore). Ji Hwan apprend qu’un de ses collaborateurs connaît Hyun Woo (le procureur) mais ne fait pas grand chose de cette information.

Episode 11

Eun Ja and Ji Hwan decide to live out their love in secret and Eun Ha launches a new channel and receives Hyun Woo’s support, which really upsets Ji Hwan. Ye Na shoots an episode to promote Ji Hwan’s sausages (yes, yes…again…) and invites everyone to a dinner party where she tries to humiliate Eun Ha and practically asks her to drop Ji Hwan because he saved her life. Ji Hwan’s rival implements his plan to get to Ji Hwan through Eun Ha, and Ji Hwan’s right-hand man declares his love for Eun Ha’s best friend, who rejects him (she’s pregnant with his child, but doesn’t know it yet). Ji Hwan learns that one of his co-workers knows Hyun Woo (the prosecutor), but does little with this information.

Episode 12

Hyun Woo se fait retirer son enquête car sa direction a reçu des pressions de la part du père de Ji Hwan et l’ancien chef du gang des chats vient menacer Eun Ha et force Ji Hwan à se montrer violent devant elle (et il sous entend que c’est le vrai Ji Hwan). Ji Hwan explique à Hyun Woo que son père est effrayant et qu’il est impossible de lui échapper. Ye Na revient à la charge et annonce à Ji Hwan qu’elle le connait mieux que Eun Ha, Ji Hwan la rejette et décide de se confier à Eun Ha sur son passé : à 13 ans, il a découvert qui était son père et a 16 ans il lui a emprunté de l’argent pour sauver sa mère sans succès. Après la mort de sa mère, il a été adopté par son père et a rejoint son gang sans y être forcé (et il a apparemment excellé dans le gang sans y être forcé non plus). Plus tard, Eun Ha le rejoint pour déjeuner et se fait presque attaquer par un homme caché (je pense que c’est le frère d’une « victime » d’un des collaborateurs de Ji Hwan) avant d’être défendue par Ji Hwan qui se montre une nouvelle fois violent devant Eun Ha.

Episode 12

Hyun Woo has his investigation withdrawn because his management has been pressured by Ji Hwan’s father, and the former head of the cat gang comes to threaten Eun Ha and forces Ji Hwan to get violent in front of her (and he implies that it’s the real Ji Hwan). Ji Hwan explains to Hyun Woo that his father is scary and impossible to escape. Ye Na returns and tells Ji Hwan that she knows him better than Eun Ha. Ji Hwan rejects her and decides to confide in Eun Ha about his past: at 13, he discovered who his father was and at 16 he borrowed money from him to save his mother without success. After his mother’s death, he was adopted by his father and joined his gang without being forced to (and apparently excelled in the gang without being forced either). Later, Eun Ha joins him for lunch and is almost attacked by a hidden man (I think he’s the brother of a « victim » of one of Ji Hwan’s collaborators) before being defended by Ji Hwan, who once again becomes violent in front of Eun Ha.

Episode 13

L’agresseur de Eun Ha est en fait le frère de la jeune fille tuée (par accident) par un collaborateur de Ji Hwan qui demande des excuses et le renvoi du collaborateur (ce que Ji Hwan refuse). Hyun Woo s’en mêle et finit par avouer à Ji Hwan qu’il l’admire et ils décident de joindre leurs forces pour eliminer le rival de Ji Hwan (Yang Hui, l’ancien leader du gang des chats rétrogradé par le père de Ji Hwan) et protéger Eun Ha. Ji Hwan découvre que son père les fait suivre lui et Eun Ha et Eun Ha trouve comprend peu à peu que son Hyun Woo et Ji Hwan sont la même personne. Ji Hwan confronte son père qui lui demande de revenir dans le gang des bulldogs à ses côtés (pas rancunier le type). Au même moment, Eun Ha demande confirmation de ses soupçons au faux Hyun Woo qui lui avoue que Ji Hwan est bien son Hyun Woo (et qu’il sait qu’elle est son Eun Ha). Eun Ha court à sa rencontre, lui avoue qu’elle sait tout et l’appelle Hyun Woo oppa, comme avant.

Episode 13

Eun Ha’s attacker is in fact the brother of the young girl killed (by accident) by one of Ji Hwan’s collaborators, who demands an apology and the collaborator’s dismissal (which Ji Hwan refuses). Hyun Woo gets involved and finally admits to Ji Hwan that he admires him, and they decide to join forces to eliminate Ji Hwan’s rival (Yang Hui, the former leader of the cat gang demoted by Ji Hwan’s father) and protect Eun Ha. Ji Hwan discovers that his father is having him and Eun Ha followed, and Eun Ha gradually realizes that his Hyun Woo and Ji Hwan are the same person. Ji Hwan confronts his father, who asks him to return to the bulldog gang alongside him (the guy has no hard feelings). At the same time, Eun Ha seeks confirmation of her suspicions from the fake Hyun Woo, who confesses that Ji Hwan is indeed her Hyun Woo (and that he knows she’s his Eun Ha). Eun Ha runs to meet him, confesses that she knows everything and calls him Hyun Woo oppa, as before.

Episode 14

Ji Hwan et Eun Ha se retrouvent pour de vrai et ne se quittent plus, Eun Ha lui suggère même de se marier un soir ou il a bu (et bien sur il ne comprend pas du tout le sous entendu). La meilleure amie de Eun Ha décide de garder son bebe et de se marier avec le collaborateur de Ji Hwan. Le père de Ji Hwan commence à recruter ses anciens bulldogs (par la force) pour reconstruire son gang et Ji Hwan commence à travailler avec Hyun Woo pour le faire tomber à nouveau. Le père de Ji Hwan débarque en pleine assemblée dans l’entreprise de Ji Hwan pour récupérer les membres de son gang (comme ils sont tous effrayés, ils quittent tous la société de Ji Hwan pour retourner dans le gang). Pour fêter ses 10000 abonnés, Eun Ha organise un gouter avec ses fans et se fait ensuite agresser par Yang Hui et deux mafieux. Hyun Woo (le procureur) s’interpose et se prend un violent coup de brique puis il s’effondre.

Episode 14

Ji Hwan and Eun Ha meet for real and don’t leave each other’s side, Eun Ha even suggests they get married one night when he’s been drinking (and of course he doesn’t understand the implication at all). Eun Ha’s best friend decides to keep her baby and marry Ji Hwan’s collaborator. Ji Hwan’s father starts recruiting his former bulldogs (by force) to rebuild his gang and Ji Hwan starts working with Hyun Woo to bring him down again. Ji Hwan’s father arrives at Ji Hwan’s company in the middle of a meeting to get his gang members back (as they are all scared, they all leave Ji Hwan’s company to return to the gang). To celebrate her 10,000 subscribers, Eun Ha organizes a tea party with her fans, only to be attacked by Yang Hui and two mobsters. Hyun Woo (the prosecutor) interferes, gets hit by a brick and collapses.

Episode 15

Ji Hwan arrive sur le lieu du crime et se lache sur Yang Hui avant que la police n’arrive et ne les arrête. Hyun Woo va bien et file au commissariat pour aider Ji Hwan et ils croisent le père de Ji Hwan au moment ou Eun Ha se jette sur lui pour prendre de ses nouvelles. Ji Hwan la repousse et pars sans lui jeter un regard (trop peur que son père et sa clique ne la tuent). Le groupe cache Eun Ha chez sa meilleure amie (cachette du siècle…) contre sin gré le temps que Ji Hwan remette son entreprise sur pieds et tente une nouvelle fois d’empêcher son père de nuire. Eun Ha réussit à revenir dans leur maison pour tourner une vidéo avec Ye Na et retrouve Ji Hwan qui la rejette mais finit par craquer et lui demande de l’attendre et lui offre un collier (moi j’aurais caché un gps dedans au cas ou). Ji Hwan arrive à convaincre le nouveau bras droit de son père de lui dire ou se trouvent les preuves de ses malversations et il planifie d’aller les chercher, seul (excellente idée). Il tombe droit dans un piège tendu par son père qui lui demande de rejoindre son gang ou il mourra avec un de ses collaborateurs, Ji Hwan décide de sauver son collaborateur et au moment ou son père le tabasse, Yang Hui surgit pour le poignarder et Ji Hwan se jette entre eux et prend le coup de couteau à la place de son père.

Episode 15

Ji Hwan arrives at the scene of the crime and dumps himself on Yang Hui before the police arrive and arrest them. Hyun Woo is fine and heads off to the police station to help Ji Hwan, and they bump into Ji Hwan’s father just as Eun Ha pounces on him to check up on him. Ji Hwan pushes her away and leaves without a glance (too afraid that her father and his clique will kill her). The group hides Eun Ha at her best friend’s house (hideout of the century…) against her will while Ji Hwan gets his business back on its feet and tries once again to prevent her father from doing any harm. Eun Ha manages to get back to their house to shoot a video with Ye Na and finds Ji Hwan, who rejects her but finally breaks down and asks her to wait for him and offers her a necklace (I’d have hidden a GPS in it just in case). Ji Hwan convinces his father’s new right-hand man to tell him where the evidence of his misdeeds is, and he plans to go and get it, alone (excellent idea). He falls right into a trap set by his father, who asks him to join his gang or die with one of his collaborators. Ji Hwan decides to save his collaborator and just as his father is beating him up, Yang Hui emerges to stab him, and Ji Hwan throws himself between them and takes the stab instead of his father.

Episode 16

Hyun Woo arrives à temps pour faire coffrer tout le monde (y compris ce cher papou) et récupérer les preuves puis il envoie Ji Hwan à l’hôpital. Ji Hwan reste un peu dans le coma et finit par se réveiller (j’avais peur que ça dure des plombes), son père avoue tous ses crimes et Ji Hwan va lui rendre visite. Son père le « libère » de ses obligations et lui annonce qu’ils ne se verront plus. A peu près 1 an plus tard, tout est rentré dans l’ordre : le bébé est né et tout le monde l’adore et ça donne des idées à Ji Hwan qui décide de demander Eun Ha en mariage. Elle accepte, il lui offre une Audi (placement produit franchement inutile), et ils partent tous ensemble faire un spectacle dans une école. Fin.

Episode 16

Hyun Woo arrives in time to have everyone arrested (including dear daddy) and collect the evidence, then sends Ji Hwan to hospital. Ji Hwan stays in a coma for a while and eventually wakes up (I was afraid it was going to take forever), his father confesses to all his crimes and Ji Hwan goes to visit him. His father « releases » him from his obligations and tells him they won’t be seeing each other anymore. About 1 year later, everything is back to normal: the baby is born and everyone adores her, which gives Ji Hwan ideas and he decides to ask Eun Ha to marry him. She accepts, he buys her an Audi (a really unnecessary product placement), and they all go off together to perform at a school. The end.

Mon avis

Malheureusement (pour moi, pas pour vous), je n’ai pas aimé ce drama.

J’avais vraiment beaucoup d’attentes, à cause des extraits que j’ai vus en boucle sur les réseaux sociaux et de la note de ce drama qui est excellente sur à peu près tous les sites, et je dois avouer que je n’ai pas été satisfaite.

J’ai eu du mal à me faire aux acteurs. L’acteur qui joue Ji Hwan a une voix et une élocution très particulières (je pense aussi qu’il force le trait) ce qui ne m’a pas du tout aidée à rentrer dans ce drama au début. Je n’ai pas non plus aimé l’actrice principale, je ne lui trouve rien de dérangeant, je l’ai juste trouvée fade et ça ne m’a pas donné très envie. Au fil du drama, je ne leur ai trouvé que peu voire pas d’alchimie, dommage, l’histoire était pourtant prometteuse. Au contraire, leur relation est la même que lorsqu’ils avaient 10 ans : enfantine et cucul, et j’avoue que voir ça de la part d’adultes de 30-40 ne m’a pas du tout paru crédible. Le seul acteur qui m’a plu est un des mafieux, Jae Soo mais la encore il sur joue beaucoup et en fait des caisses, c’est trop pour moi.

J’ai trouvé que certains pans de l’histoire n’étaient pas assez voire pas du tout expliqués (on ne sait pas vraiment pourquoi Ji Hwan est autant craint, on ne sait pas ou sont les parents de Eun Ha, on ne voit pas la meilleure amie de Eun Ha découvrir qu’elle est enceinte etc.) alors que d’autres étaient vus, revus et re-revus.

Je n’ai rien trouvé d’exceptionnel aux décors ni aux costumes mais j’ai trouvé la bande originale pas mal, je pense même que c’est ce que j’ai préféré dans ce drama.

My opinion

Unfortunately (for me, not for you), I didn’t like this drama.

I had really high expectations, because of the videos I’ve seen over and over on social networks and this drama’s excellent rating on just about every website, and I have to admit that I wasn’t satisfied.

I had trouble getting used to the actors. The actor who plays Ji Hwan has a very peculiar voice and delivery (I also think he overdoes it), which didn’t help me get into the drama at all from start. I didn’t like the lead actress either – I don’t find anything disturbing about her, I just found her bland and that didn’t make me want to watch very much. As the drama progressed, I found little to no chemistry between them, which was a pity, given the story’s promise. Instead, their relationship is the same as when they were 10: childish and corny, and I have to admit that seeing this from adults in their 30s and 40s didn’t strike me as credible at all. The only actor I liked was one of the mobsters, Jae Soo, but then again he overplays and overdoes it, too much for me.

I found that some parts of the story weren’t explained enough, if at all (we don’t really know why Ji Hwan is so feared, we don’t know where Eun Ha’s parents are, we don’t see Eun Ha’s best friend find out she’s pregnant etc.) while others were seen over and over again.

I didn’t find anything exceptional about the sets or costumes, but I thought the soundtrack was pretty good, and I think it was my favorite part of the drama.
